I have 22 t-shirts hanging in my closet. 11 are PowerPlant shirts.

Out of the 22 t-shirts I have, I have only paid for 5. And two of those are 5 years old, one is 4, one is 2, and one is 2 weeks old. So on average I buy one t-shirt a year. Some years I binge and buy 2. Other years, I go on a dry spell and don't buy any at all.

Why I like Donald Miller

The reason I like Donald Miller’s books:

He is an excellent story teller. His book is full of truth. Profound good life-changing truth… but his book is not a collection of “truth statements.”

His book is a collection of stories in which you “discover” the truth within the stor(y/ies)…

He is so much easier to read than most of the other authors I read because their books are jammed packed with truths, but just lists, and little bits of illustrations. This guy, Donald Miller, and his books are packed with stories, from which truth is in.

Not only that, there’s so much to learn about communication and story-telling from this guy, as well as ways that can help me in my effort of narrative preaching.

And that is just brushing the surface. We could all take a few lessons from Donald Miller.
